NIE Energy
NIE Energy is a private sector organisation which provides electricity to the domestic and business markets in Northern Ireland. NIE Energy also offers Eco Energy – a renewable energy electricity tariff, grants for developing renewable energy, and a Micro-Renewable Generation Tariff which offers small micro-generators a payment for both the NIROCs on accredited generation and for electricity that is exported.
